| Intro |
|
It's close to
midnight, something evil's lurking in the dark. Under the moonlight you
see a sight that almost stops your heart. No, it's not Michael Jackson,
but a brand new Dracula case provided by
Xoxide.com. But in all
seriousness, this case is a thriller. This case is direct from the
factory. It hasn’t been released to the public yet, so this review is
exclusive to
HardwareMods. |
| Packaging |
| From the moment I received the Dracula Case
from
Xoxide.com,
I was blown away by how securely it was packed. I expected it to
be double boxed, but there was also packing paper inside the case, and
packing peanuts on the outside to ensure that the case was not harmed
during shipping. The case box itself was also decked out with a pretty
cool three headed Dracula design on it. |

| Dracula Case Features |
- Unique side panel design with clear window and 80mm fan hole,
with fan included.
- Rear 120mm fan hole with fan included.
- Front 120mm fan hole.
- Front USB and sound jacks.
- Distinctive front panel design.
- Large door covers drive bays so there is no need for stealthing.

| Dracula Case Exterior |
| Lets start with the front panel of the Dracula Case. The whole theme of the front of the case looks quite similar to the line of
cases used by Alienware (when I first showed the case to a few less computer
savvy people, their first reaction was, "Whoa, you got an Alienware!"). The
face of the front panel door even has an "Alien Head", just like the Alienware
cases. I don't understand how this fits into the Dracula theme, but it
still looks good.
The door itself is also very stylish. It
features a raised line down the middle, which visually splits the door into two
halves. Opening the door reveals the exterior drive bays. There are
four external 5.25" bays, along with two external 3.5" bays.
|
| The bottom of the front panel sports what looks
to be the "face" of the Dracula, with the chrome USB cover being the mouth, the
power and reset switches being the nose, and the clear plastic coverings being
the eyes. |
