Logisys Fan Mouse Intro
So, you're playing your favorite computer game against your best friend.. You are down by a frag with 10 seconds left.. Your hands are sweating, you go for the kill and once you start shooting... Your hand slips off of your mouse.
Now if you had the Logisys Optical Fan Mouse, then it would be a totally different story. This Logisys fan mouse has a very cool, yet unique look to it. The first thing I noticed was the mirror finish on the sides. Then I looked at it closer and saw the vents and the holes on the top.. After all, the main feature of this mouse is the fan inside.

However, I was very skeptical of how well this "fan mouse" would perform. This is the first one I have ever seen and to be honest, the box was very ugly. I was surprised that such a beautiful fan would be put in the box that it was. With out anymore hesitation, I took it out and plugged it in one of my USB ports on my computer. Very easy to install, even the most computer illiterate person could do it!
I put my hand around it, for the first few minutes I am trying to figure out where my fingers go.. For the record I am a Microsoft explorer mouse user, but this mouse felt so.. right. It is a little bit smaller and a little bit lighter than I am used to but I got used to it very quickly. However, I do have one complaint. In my opinion, It needs more buttons. After using my Microsoft mouse for a few years, you get used to the two side buttons. They come in handy when you want to go back/forward a page in your browser or for getting out certain weapons as well as health while playing games.
The fan itself isn't very powerful, if you cover all of the vents with your hands, then it just circulates hot air. But, it does do the trick. After playing Enemy Territory for a few hours at a time and using my computer for the past week.. I have yet to have a sweaty hand. I love it. The Fan Mouse also has a handy on and off switch.

Overall, the Fan Mouse is a great product that is made fairly well. And even though it is a good design, it could use two more buttons and a more powerful fan. For the price, you can't argue with it though. It is only $15 at Xoxide.com and you can get a variety of different colors for just a bit more.
